Richard Novak

Richard A Novak was born to Frank I Novak (1906-1988)
and Marion Dalziel (1911-2012) both of whom are buried
in the Howe Cemetery in the Town of Mt Morris. Richard
graduated for Wild Rose High School in 1950.  He was on
the basketball and baseball teams all 4 years. He did
extemporaneous speaking 3 years and worked on the
annual as advertising manager his senior year. He was
class Vice President as a Freshman and President as a
Junior.  He served 4 years in the Air Force.  He graduated
from the University of Montana.  He worked in radio in
Bozeman, MT. By 2000 he had traveled to 67 countries.
He worked for Grant International which investigates
products and and the distribution of counterfeit goods. 
He was kicked out of Iran after the revolution in 1979.
He worked in lots of places in the Middle East from Kuwait,
Saudi Arabia, Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Oman.
He later moved to Arusha, Tanzania in Africa.  He and
his wife, Dolores bought land and developed a resort near
Mt Meru and not far from Mt Kilimanjaro.  From his resort
is not far from an animal park where you can see elephants.
The yearbook said he wanted to be noticed. It appears he
has been very successful.
