Harley Corning

Harley Corning is winding up for baseball season.  Harley
was the son of Clarence Corning and his wife Grace
Stoddard.  Harley was born in Wild Rose on March 1,
1902 and died October 25, 1995.  He married Bessie
Trexall on October 18, 1922. She was the daughter of
Edgar and Alta Trexall and was born May 3, 1905 in the
Town of Marion.  Bessie died May 11, 1970.  Harley
married again on January 7, 1974 to Lena Kapp Pretz. 
She was the daughter of William and Augusta Kapp. 
Lena was born June 8, 1907 and died October 7, 1993. 
He was the owner operator of White River Electric Dam
& Resort,  Corning's Resort in Mt. Morris and Corning's
 Rock Shop in Wautoma.  Harley and Bessie had two
children: Duane Corning and Bunny Corning Christie.
