This is Edith R Uher who was born December 14, 1902 in Coloma, Wisconsin. Her parents were Albert J Uher and his wife Anna. Her parents
were born in Austrian Bohemia. She went to
school at is now UW-Stevens Point and student
taught the Town of Stockton in Portage County
in 1922. She married Arlin J Potter who was
born March 14, 1903 in Wautoma. His parents
were Albert J Potter and Mariet Eriksdatter whose
farm name was Revling. His mother was born
in Valdres, North Aurdal, Oppland, Norway.
Edith and Arlin had three children, Nathan,
Norbert andHelen. Arlin died February 9, 1963
in Oshkosh. Edith died November 8, 1971 in
Oshkosh. Both are buried in the Holden
Lutheran brother Minor Potter who married
Edith Evans. Minor was a long time mail carrier
in Wild Rose and served a short time as
postmaster. |
