Jeanette Olson Murty

Jeanette Olson Murty was born July 4, 1913 in 
Brush Creek, Fairbault County, Minnesota to Ole 
Gulbrandson Olson and Mary Severina Legreid.  
The picture is her wedding picture to Glenn R
Freeborn County, Minnesota.  Because it was 
during World War I when gas was rationed, his 
family was unable to attend. They moved to 
Wild Rose after the war. She drove trucks while 
he was in service. At one time she worked as a 
butcher at Bechard's grocery store.  She was 
very act in the American Legion Auxiliary, 
the Methodist Church, the Lionesses and 
attended many youth baseball games which 
her husband managed.  She spent countless 
hours wiping eggs before they went to market 
when they were raising chickens. They had 
no children.
