Fairbanks, Towne, Deering, Goodell

This is a four generation picture that was taken before
the death of Sarah Fairbanks Towne in 1926.  Back row:
Eunice Gertrude Towne Deering born March 12, 1873
to Alvin Oscar Towne and Sarah Fairbanks Towne. 
Gertrude married Thomas Deering November 12, 1892.
She died December 12, 1946.  Her daughter Blanche
Towne Goodell is also in the back row. Blanche was
born February 15, 1898.  She married Ira Goodell. 
She died August 16, 1977 in Madison but was buried
in Hammond, Wisconsin. The baby is Zella Goodell
Olsen, daughter of Blanche & Ira.  Zella was 5 years
old at the time of the 1930 census so she would have
been a baby in 1926. Holding Zella is her
great-grandmother Sarah Fairbanks Towne.  Sarah was
born July 9, 1855 in the Town of Belmont to Cyrus
Fairbanks and his wife Eveline McKnight.  She married
Alvin Oscar Towne April 14, 1871.  She died April 29,
1926.
