Kathleen Keohane

Kathleen Mary Keohane was born January 19, 
1935 to James Emmett and Julia Keohane.  At 
one time her parents both taught in Wild Rose. 
In 1948 her mother taught 3rd and 4th grades 
and her dad 7th and 8th grades.  Julia was 
Kailua, Hawaii.  James was born November 19, 
1905 to James Edward Keohane and Katherine 
(Kit) Brennan. James Emmett Keohane died 
December 2, 1983 in Oshkosh.  Kathleen 
graduated from Wild Rose High School in 
1952.  She was class secretary her freshman 
year.  She played the french horn in the band, 
was in glee club, mixed chorus and in a sextet 
her senior year.  She was Homecoming  Queen 
with February 4, 1950 with David Jones as 
King.  She participated in forensics in 
extemporaneous reading and humorous 
declarations.  She was in the skating club for 
three years including being selected Queen 
one year.  She was a cheerleader, majorette, 
on student council, in a class play and on the 
annual staff.  Kathleen Keohane Kay died 
June 9, 2007 in Kailua, Hawaii.
