Georgiana Jeffers Harder

This tintype is of Georgiana Jeffers Harder. She was
born in Rose, Wayne County, New York the 13 of
March 1851.  Her parents were James W Jeffers and
Betsy Dunham.  She was one of ten children.  Her
siblings were: James, Milan, Martha, Mary, Nancy,
Sidney, Phoebe, Frank and Edwin, who was also
known as Fremont.  She married Winfield Scott
Harder on March 31, 1874. His parents were Perry
and Jane Harder.   They had seven children: Amy,
Jennie, Bessie, Ira, Edwin, Harriet and May. 
Georgiana died in Wild Rose on December 6, 1893. 
Her youngest child was about 3.  Winfield Scott
Harder was born March 27, 1849 in New York.  He
died May 21, 1922 in the Town of Clayton,
Winnebago County, Wisconsin.
