Some of the 7th Grade Girls from Wild Rose

Some of the girls from the Class of 1923 when 
they were in 7th grade in Wild Rose. Jane Jones 
Peterson, Dorothy Taplin (the teacher), Lucille 
Sorenson Malnory, Mary Davis #, Eleanor 
Jones #, Dorothy Smith #, Evelyn Sprague 
Bensley, Bernice Jones, Martha Harvey. This 
symbol indicates  "#" that they did not marry.  
A fair number of the women moved away from 
Wild Rose. The teacher was born in Dec. of 1893 
or 1894. She was the daughter of Eugene Taplin 
and wife Carrie Smith. She died in 1923 and 
was buried in Wautoma Union.
