Carl Handke

This is a picture of Carl Handke  as the coach.  Carl was 
born Carl Victor William Handke to Fred Handke and 
Amanda Kurth. He was born April 30, 1904 In Granton, 
Clark County, Wisconsin.  He married Lyrena Imogene 
Bradley, daughter of George Bradley and Anna Nourse 
on August 1, 1928 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  Lyrena was 
born November 29, 1904 in the Town of Dayton, 
Waupaca County.  He was a teacher in Wild Rose. He 
died February 4, 1954 in Oshkosh.  Lyrena married
Emil Zimmer June 30, 1961.  She died May 9, 2004 
just short of 100 years.
