Joyce Rosin Nelson

Joyce Irene Rosin was born July 8, 1942 in
Portage County.  She was the daughter of
William H Rosin and his wife Ann Sophie
Lawrence.  Ann was born in Copenhagen,
Denmark.  William as born in Wisconsin
in 1907 and died in Amherst, Wisconsin
June 21, 1956. The family suffered a big
loss because the 5 children ranged in age
21 to 14.  Joyce was the youngest.  Her
younger sister Ramona had died in 1953.
Joyce graduated from Wild Rose High
School in 1960. She as nicknamed"Bubbles." 
Her favorite saying was "Did you ever!''
Her favorite song was "Mary Don't You
Weep For Me." She wanted to be an airline
stewardess. She worked on the newspaper
staff as  a senior. She was in basketball her
first two years and Girls Athletic Association
the last two.  She was a member of Future
Homemakers Association 2-4.  She married
Sidney E Nelson but they divorced in 1983.
Joyce died in Waupaca October 17, 2001
and was buried in Amherst.  Sidney was
born September 17, 1941 and died
November 21, 2011.
