LaForest Attwood Jones

LaForest Atwood Jones had an early business in
Jones eventually became a grocery salesman
and by 1884 was living in Portage, Wisconsin. 
LaForest Atwood Jones was born January 7, 1847
in Sidney, Kennebec County, Maine.  His parents
were Atwood F and Augusta Jones.  Laforest Jones
married Anne C Etheridge, daughter of John
Etheridge and Christina Courtier January 7, 1884
in Portage, Wisconsin. Anne was born February 28,
1854 In Buffalo, New York.  She died December 30,
1922 in Portage. L A and Anne made a number of
trips to Maine to visit his family.   L A died
March 16, 1930 in Portage. Both L A and Anne
are buried in Mt Pleasant Cemetery.
