Miriam Roberts Muir

Miriam Roberts was the tenth of eleven children of
Robert G Roberts and his wife Elizabeth Williams
Roberts.  Both her parents were born in Wales
and Miriam was born in September of 1878 in
Springwater.  She left Wisconsin before 1900 and
worked as a saleslady in Wilbur City, Lincoln
County, Washington.  Many of her family move west
but her brother James lived on the family farm. 
Miriam married James Muir June 11, 1901 in Lincoln
County, Washington.  James was born in Minnesota 
but his parents were from Scotland.  James was a
grain dealer.  They had two children:
James Creighton born April 8, 1904 and Robert
born August 11, 1909.  Both sons moved to
California.
