Bruce Stevens

This is a baby picture of Bruce
Woodard Stevens.  He was born
February 14, 1912 in Wild Rose. 
His parents were Arthur Jackson
Stevens and Julia Woodard.  He
was delivered by Dr Ben B Fisher. 
His father was the dentist who had
his practice upstairs over the
Mercantile Store which is where
the antique store is now located. 
Bruce 's mother was killed in a car pedestrian accident while she
was walking home from the
Methodist Church. Bruce married
Carol Mumbrue, daughter of Junior Mumbrue and Dora Coats.  They
were married and living in the Town of Springwater at the time of the
1930 census.  He was working as a
printer and publisher of the Wild Rose
Times.  They had two sons Bruce and
Lawrence.  Carol was born October 20,
1912 and died April 26, 2005.  Carol
and Bruce were divorced and she
married Harold Baehr June 23, 1938.  Harold Baehr died August 25, 1988. 
They had a son William Baehr.
