Jennie Lynd Jenks Woodward

Jennie Lynd Jenks was born April 23, 1867 in 
the Town of Rose, Waushara County.  Her 
parents were John Tower Jenks and Polly 
Jane Jeffers. She married Rev. Daniel 
Woodward son of John Butler Woodward and 
Sarah Moore.  He was born September 25, 
1864 and died June 22, 1944.  He was a 
Methodist minister in the beginning and 
later served as a Congregational minister.  
He also was a warden at Waupun for a 
number of years.  They had a son who was 
born in 1898 in Randolph but he died young.  
They had an adopted daughter named Nellie 
Rowe. She married Benjamin Kramer.  
Jennie died March 3, 1927 in Oshkosh.  She 
fell on an icy sidewalk and broke a hip.  She 
suffered from that followed by bronchial 
pneumonia and finally suffered a heart 
attack after 3 1/2 weeks.
