Early Methodist Church in Wild Rose

The Wild Rose Methodist Church had a building in
1881.  The parsonage was built in 1904.  By 1913
there was a debt of $2,143.00.  Rev. Isaac Johnson
was select to be the new pastor to get rid of the
debt.  Bishop William A Quayle gave and address
which was well received.  The sermon did not hint
about money until the very end.  Over night $1,500
was raised.
