Margaret Hanson

Margaret Hanson was born February 1, 1921
in Saxeville to William Benjamin Hanson(1889-
1965) and Della C Jensen (1894-1971). She
attended Wild Rose High School and
graduated with the class of 1939. She married
Ebert Nitzke February 23, 1941.Ebert was the
son of Herman A Nitzke (1897-1960) and
Augusta A Bowe ( 1894-1990) was born
August 7, 1921. He died in 1975. Margaret
was active in the First English Lutheran Church
in Poy Sippi. She taught Vacation Bible School,
was a member of Circle 1 for women.  She took
second in Smear at a card party sponsored by
the Pine River Advancement Association at the
Leon town hall in 1966.  The family attended the
George Vergin picnic reunion in  1953. She
hosted a shower for her sister Shirley who
married Kermit Jorgenson in 1955. She was
also a member of the Loyal Homermakers Club
of Poy Sippi. They had a son Clyde Nitzke.
Margaret died September 19, 1983.  She and
Ebert are buried in the Poy Sippi Cemetery.
