William Marsden

William Marsden was born May 25, 1942 in Wild
Rose. His parents were Leonard Marsden and
Aveniel Thompson.  He grew up in a house on
High Street at the corner of Maple Avenue.  He
graduated with the class of 1960.  He played
the tuba in band and pep band.  He sang in
chorus. He was on student council as a
sophomore and class treasurer as a junior.  He
was on the basketball for the first three years.

Bill was in the senior class play, "Turn Back the
Clock," and played the part of Charles Hill. The
Rose called him reckless. His saying was "Aw.
don't get all torn up!"  He wanted to have a car
that would go 150 mph.  Bill was allergic to bee
stings.  He worked as an auto parts salesman for
Oshkosh Auto.  Later he worked at  King in
transportation. Bill died January 2, 2000 in
Wautoma.
