Ronald Walters

Ronald Walters was a member of the class of 
1960.. His parents were Elmer Walters and Cor
Davies.  He was King of the Junior prom on 
May 2, 1959.  The theme was South Pacific.  
Carol Anderson Auck was the Queen.  He was 
Johnnie Stone in the senior class play "Turn 
Back the Clock." His nickname was "Elmer Fudd." 
He was seen as devilish. Girls were his 
weakness. Ron's favorite song was "Wild One." 
He wanted to go to West Point.  Ron was class 
treasurer as a sophomore and Vice-President 
as a Junior. He played basketball years 2-4 and 
made the letter club as a Senior. He was on the 
track team as a senior as well as on the Annual 
staff. The Rose said " Beware, I'll do something 
magnificent yet." He has lived in Florida for 
more than 20 years.
