David C Hahn is the son of Chester Hahn (1913-1972) and Verna I Darnick (1918-2013). His parents are buried in Berlin. The Hahn family lived in the Town of Saxeville on Highway M near where the Pleasant View School is today. His siblings are Raymond and Janice and a sister Mary who died. He went to a one room school in Saxeville called Glendale. He went to Wild Rose for High School. He received the Industrial Arts award in 1960. His nickname was Chester. He was shy with a weakness for agriculture. His favorite saying was "Do you think it will work?' His favorite song was "Running Bear." He wanted to be a millionaire. The yearbook said "I may be a 'Country Gentleman' but someday I'll be a 'Woman's Home Companion'."He graduated in 1960. David married Christine Hanneman. He worked for Ripon Good Cookies as a supervisor. |
