James Larson

James Larson was born in Denmark March 10,
1851. The writing on the picture is from Blanche
Etheridge Murty. His tombstone uses Larson.
His naturalization says he came in 1868. He
received his citizenship April 24, 1894 in Waushara
County. He married Mary Elizabeth Thomas and
they had a son William born in 1878. Mary died
in 1880, His second wife was Amanda Sabra
Pierce. They were married Oct. 3, 1888. Their
only child was Lelah Larson who was born  in
Dec of 1889. Lelah married William J Knights the
co-foundern of th Gideons. James died in 1928 and
Amanda died in 1929. They are buired in Caersalem,
