Smith School in the Town of Rose

This school was located off from County P. You would turn left
at the first road,  Blanche Etheridge later Murty taught there in
the early 1900's. She roomed with the Earl Smith family. Women
teachers usually lived with family closest to the school. She had
to get to school to start the fire before  the kids came.
