Pine River School in Waushara County

This is a picture from 1960 of the Old Pine School 

in section 23 of the town of Springwater. It was 

located in the northwest corner of the section and 

was on land of William P. Peterson at the time of 

the 1914 plat book. Peterson also owned land 

in 14 which was across the street from the 

school. The land was later owned by Junior Mumbrue.
