Meredith Owens was the son of Evan Harris Owens
and wife Hannah Lowe. Eavn was a blacksmith
in Wild Rose, WI. He was born May 25, 1902 and
baptized in Horeb Presbyterian Church on Oct 9,
1902. He married Ruth L Ihde Dec 30, 1922.
His WWII draft card shows he was 5'61/2" and
was 155 pounds. He had brown hair, gray hair and
a light complexion. They had 5 sons. He was a
local salesman for meat packers in Milwaukee. He
died in 1963 and was buried Caersalem Cemetery
in the Township of Springwater outside of Wild
Rose, Ruth was born in Feb 5, 1901 and died
April 24, 1993 and is also in Caersalem. He
graduated from Wild Rose High School in 1919.
