Gordon Frederick Bradley was born April 1, 1924 in
Auroraville, Waushara County. His parents were
Clarence Ernest Bradley (1891-1969) and Marion
Eliza Frederickson (1898-1971). His grandfather,
George W Bradley was the owner of the Wild Rose hotel which was rebuilt in 1900 after the original
hotel burned. Gordon graduated with the class of
1941. His appearance was overworked and he had
a weakness for bowling alleys. His favorite song
was "Gee But I hate To Go Home Alone." He wanted
to be happy. He enlisted in the Feb. 4, 1943 and
was discharged April 20, 1946. He married Stefana
Frances Caravello on May 14, 1949 in Milwaukee.
She was born Jan. 11.1921 in Milwaukee to
Salvatore Caravello and Maria Cicerelli. They had
6 daughters. Stefana died Feb. 28, 1986 in Wild Rose. Gordon died November 7, 1989 at King. |
