John Hart Farm on County O near Highway 22 Wild Rose

This is a picture of the John Hart Home
on County O (located on the right side
going to Hancock) in better days.  The
people in the picture are Wesley Hart
son of John Hart and Marion L Darling
Hart.  Wesley was born May 8, 1869 in
the Town of Rose. He died March 16,
1916  in Wild Rose.  He married Clara
Swett, daughter of Benjamin Swett and
Mary Jeffers, on April 29, 1891.    She
was born July 13, 1870 in the Town of
Rose and died July 11, 1920 in Wild Rose. 
They had two sons who died in infancy,
one in 1894 and the other in 1903. 
Wesley was a produce buyer especially
eggs.  They adopted a daughter Melva
who went to live with Wesley's brother
James Ellery Hart after they died.  Melva
married Dr. Otto Keller. Both Melva and
Dr.  Keller worked at the Wild Rose
Hospital in its early years.
