Ellis W. Roberts

Ellis Wynn Roberts was born Oct. 1, 1893 in
Neenah, Wisconsin.  His parents were Ellis
Roberts and Mary Thomas.  He was a clerk in
Oscar Holt's store in Wild Rose when he registered
for the WWI draft.  He was medium height, slender,
brown eyes and red hair.  He was a Presbyterian
minister in South Fork, Delaware County, Iowa. He
served in the Navy in WWI.
