Mary Jorgensen Class of 1959 Wild Rose
Mary Jorgensen was born
Aug. 4, 1941 in Waukesha,
Wisconsin to Vernon and Nellie
Nutter Jorgensen. They moved
Saxeville in 1951. She went to
Wild Rose High School. She was
in the Homecoming court as a
senior. She was in the Future
Homemakers, Forensics Glee
club, Chorus, Girls sports and
Newspaper. She went to Green
Bay for Beauty school and later
she opened Mimi's Beauty Salon
in her home. She married Glen
Erdman May 6, 1961. He was in
service so they lived on the
military bases. She also opened
The Pickle Station Gift Shop. They
had 2 children. Mary died of cancer
July 11, 2007in Saxeville.

The Wild Rose Historical Museum has a display of patents
from Wild Rose inventors. The museum has 6 buildings
and a smokehouse. Three of the buildings are on Main St
and four are behind. The museum is open from 10:00 AM
to 1:00 PM on Wed & Sat. It opens on or after June 15
and closes on Labor Day Sat.

Harland Henry Jeffers in grade school in Wild Rose
Harland Henry Jeffers was born May 17, 1903 in
Wild Rose to Henry Jeffers and Mary Bartelson.
He married Ida Chase Aug,6 1921 in Fond du Lac.
He was a guard a Waupun for 34 years. he was a
member of the Congregational church, and he was
in the Masonic Lodge 48 in Waupun. They had two.
daughters Geraldine who married Joel Baarda and
Barbara Jeffers. He had a brother LaVerne and a
sister Murrel Jeffers Sawyer. His wife died in1960.
Harland died Aug. 25, 1976
