Della Wilcox was the wife of Dr. William Sheldon
Wilcox. Della Richards was married Dr Carey who
died of a ruptured appendix. Dr Carey had sons
Richard and Phillip. Della married Dr Wilcox and
they had a daughter Lucile. Dr. Wilcox was born in
Clover Valley, Nevada. He went to Rush Medical
College in Chicago for his medical training. They
lived in the house that Carey had built on the NE
corner of Main St & River St in Wild Rose. Della
would have owned the house after her first
husband died.
