Faith Apps Jenks
Faith Apps was born Nov. 5, 1914 in
Wild Rose, WI. She graduated from Wild
Rose High School in 1933. She taught iin
the Progressive school and Chain'O Lakes
rural schools for ten years and 25 years
in the Wild Rose grade school. Alfred
Jenks married her Feb. 17, 1937. They
had a son John. She was a member of
the WR Methodist church, Wild Rose
Historical Society including guiding
especially in our one room school. She
was a member of the WR Hospital
Auxiliary, Eastern Star. She died Sept.17,
2003.
Frank Sidney Currier
Frank Sidney Currier was born in 1880 in the
Town of Dakota, Washara County. His preants
were Sidney Currier and Mellisa Hayes. He
married Josie Remington in 1910. They had
3 daughters: Ruby Currier Anderson, Ellen
Currier Colligan, and Ruth Currier Oleson.
Josie Remington Currier died in May of 1928.
Frank was a farmer but he lived on River St.
in Wild Rose for a time. His draft cardfor WWII
says he was 5'5" tall, weight 135, brown eyes,
gray hair and light complexion.
