Margaret Jeffers Wiley

Margaret Jeffers Wiley was the daughter of John Jeffers and his wife Lydia Way. She was born Dec. 11, 1827 in Rose, Wayne County, New York. She married Oren J Wiley Dec.24, 1844 in Rose, NY.

Wild Rose Bandstand

The bandstand was located on land where the library is today. This is Memorial Day. Rebecca Colligan is the person speaking just to the right of the flag. There are 4 military men. The second on the left is Weldon "Tiny West, and the second on the right is Fred Frater.

We all received Reagan pins because we had volunteered for many hours in the campaign.

Pam Anderson at the Caucas

I worked for the Republican Assembly Caucus as an analyst. Some of the issues I covered were school aids, reapportionment, what to do with an abandon cemetery, contempt of the Assembly. I followed the state budget and attended long hearings on the budget. We worked long hours on days the Assembly was in session because they could be in session after midnight toward the end of the session.  The picture shows my desk on the rare time it was clean.  Behind me on the left you can see the shelves that contained the folders for the many bills that were introduced.

Margery Etheridge Bursell

Margery was the daughter of John Etheridge. She was born Sept. 12, 1849 in England. She married Robert Dunn Bursell.  She died Aug. 14, 1886.  Their children were: Ernest,Maude, Justin & Rollo.

Benjamin Etheridge & Cornelius Etheridge

Benjamin & Cornelius Etheridge brothers of Josiah & John of Wild Rose. Benjamin lived in Janesville. Cornelius lived in Wild Rose for awhile but moved to Idaho.
