Wild Rose Fire Hose

This is the first Wild Rose fire hose.  It could be moved by horses or pulled by two men from hand holds on the handle.  They did not have a truck when this was used.

Johnny Roberts Milkwagon

Johnny Roberts delivered milk door to door in Wild Rose, The wagon is in the carriage house in the Wild Rose Museum. The netting you see in the picture was on the back of the horse to keep horse flies from biting the horse.

Straight Furrow Quilt

While some people see this as a log cabin quilt it is really a furrow quilt. It is light and dark because when you plow a field you turn over darker soil.
