Joy and her cousin Beverly Murty Anderson Ansorge had tea with and an English cousin at Harrods. The picture was taken Sept 1, 1989. Joy and Beverly toured the England Ireland, Scotland and Wales. I corresponded with Margaret Land until she died in 2005 at 86.
May Etheridge was born on May 1, 1879 in Wild Rose to Alanson Pease Etheridge and Emma Spicer. She married William Roth. They moved to Westfield and then Eau Claire. May was born deaf as was her husband. She went to school in Delevan at the school for the deaf. She died Dec. 22 1970 in Eau Claire. She liked to watch soap operas and had a very good sense of humor.

Dr Wilcox had the house on the millpond side of Main St and River St. Today the house is red. Margretta had her shop in the part of Vintage Gardens that was not the bowling alley.
These are two of the 4 men struck by lightening in 1859 in the Town of Mt. Morris. Anon lived but Jacob and the other two died immediately from the lightening. Anon later served in the Civil War.

Ellen McLaughlin was born 24 Dec., 1840 in Mohill, Leitrim, Ireland. She came to the US in 1851. She married Jacob Testin in Ohio in 1857. She died 23 Feb 1922 in Wild Rose, Waushara, Wisconsin.
